To mark the occasion, a media launch event was held on the 25th of July 2025 at Pearl Chinese Restaurant, offering guests a first look at this year’s exquisite mooncake collection and the elegant packaging inspired by the beauty of the season.

Chef Gyula Harangi, the newly-appointed Director of Culinary of JW Marriott Hotel Jakarta, shared, "This year’s mooncake collection reflects our deep respect for cultural heritage while embracing the exceptional culinary craftsmanship of our team. We are proud to present these handcrafted delights as a heartfelt tribute to tradition and a celebration of meaningful connections."

Renowned for his culinary artistry and dedication to authenticity, Chef Gyula presents a refined collection of traditional baked mooncakes, each delicately prepared using heritage recipes and premium ingredients, offering the perfect harmony of flavor, texture and cultural significance.

This year, JW Marriott Hotel Jakarta introduces three exquisite packaging designs, transforming every mooncake gift into a luxurious keepsake:

1. Sapphire Box – Light blue base, wrapped in soft pink hues with gold accents and charming rabbit motifs, this two-drawer Vanity box holds four mooncakes and makes a graceful statement. Priced at IDR 888,000 net/box. 

2. Ruby Box – A bold, masculine counterpart to the Sapphire box, Ruby hamper is in radiant red and gold with elegant double-door openings, revealing four mooncakes nestled within. A striking symbol of prosperity and joy. Priced at IDR 888,000 net/box. 

3. Jade Hamper - The ultimate expression of celebration, this opulent green box features celestial backgrounds, rabbit miniatures and an enchanting moon with a glowing effect, designed to delight. It holds eight mooncakes and offers a grand unboxing experience. Priced at IDR 2,888,000 net/box. 

Guests may select from four classic Baked mooncake flavors:

- Red Bean 

- Pandan 

- Black Sesame
