Recently, Padma Hotel Bandung has released new meat specials that are creating quite the buzz. We couldn't resist the temptation to see what the fuss was about, so we headed over to indulge in these highly acclaimed dishes.

Wagyu Rib Eye Steak

Before the main dish arrived, we enjoyed some bread and creamy mushroom soup with a slice of baguette as an appetizer. We also ordered a glass of wine from their extensive collection, starting at IDR 150,000++, to enhance our meal even further.

First up, the Wagyu Rib Eye Steak. As soon as it arrived, it was clear this was no ordinary steak. The 200-gram Wagyu rib eye, with a marbling score of 4, promised a melt-in-your-mouth experience. True to its promise, the steak was beautifully tender and flavorful, with a rich, buttery taste that only top-quality Wagyu can offer. Accompanied by fresh mixed vegetables and potato wedges, we highly recommend adding more butter to the dish, making it softer, creamier, and richer. We had the option to choose from three signature sauces—mushroom, black pepper, or BBQ. Each one was tempting, but the mushroom sauce, with its rich, savory, and creamy texture, turned out to be our favorite.

500-gram BBQ Ribs

Next, we tried the BBQ Ribs, and they did not disappoint. The 500-gram portion of ribs was nothing short of spectacular. The meat was incredibly tender, practically falling off the bone. Served with sautéed mixed vegetables and potato wedges, the ribs were a hearty feast. The choice of sauces—mushroom, black pepper, or BBQ—offered the perfect opportunity to tailor the dish to our taste. We couldn’t resist the BBQ sauce, which complemented the smoky, savory ribs perfectly.

Each dish was not disappointing, we really had a great meal.
