The Westin Jakarta hosts a one-day-only event for 'Cinco De Mayo' on the 5th of May 2023 at Wayra by Henshin. Cinco de Mayo, a traditional annual celebration held on May 5th, commemorates Mexico's victory over the French Empire at the Battle of Puebla in 1862. Partnered with Herradura Tequila for the renowned Tequila Rituals and given bars battle of two mixologists from Herradura Jakarta and Bali - Angie and Mega - the fun-filled evening will heighten by DJ Thess Fischer playing a variety of house music genres and an LED Light Dancer to excite the dance floors.
Thess Fischer is a DJ and producer from Sweden who currently resides on the Indonesian island of Bali. Passionately sharing her love of music, Thess has earned a reputation for delivering outstanding performances that captivate the audience, earning her a sought-after reputation in Asia's electronic music scene. She is known for her infectious sets, soulful sounds, and feel-good energy behind the decks, and she picks apart and blends various genres of house music, creating an electrifying energy that ignites the dance floors.
Perched on Level 67 of The Westin Jakarta, Wayra by Henshin is pleased to bring over the most unparalleled views of Jakarta’s skyline. Greeted by a lively ambiance created by Henshin’s in-house DJ in the background, guests will be able to indulge in free-flow cocktails starting from 8 PM to 10 PM. After 10 PM all additional cocktails will be charged IDR 150.000.
