Maria Sascha Khan, is an internationally renowned Prima Ballerina and Master Teacher. She has a Masters Degree from the University of the Arts Central Saint Martins, and is the co-founder of the Yellowstone International Arts Festival. She trained under Luidmila Morkovina at the Kirov Academy ofBallet, in Washington DC, and Marika Besobrasova (coach to Rudolph Nureyev and Margot Fonteyn) at the Academie de Danse Classique de Princesse Grace, Monte Carlo. Maria Sascha attended summers at Royal Ballet School, San Francisco Ballet and American Ballet Theatre on scholarship. Graduating with honours, Maria Sascha was invited to join the Staatsballett Berlin, ranked one of the top five companies in the world. Dancing a wide range of classical and contemporary repertoire she continued her career with the Bayerisches Staatsballett in Munich, English National Ballet of London and as Principal Dancer of the Ekaterinburg State Ballet, Russia. A cultural ambassador and advocate for the Arts, Maria Sascha has been actively involved in organising and producing arts events since age 19. She is also a respected jury member for ballet competitions, runs masterclasses locally and globally.
