Bianco Sapori D'Italia is reintroducing captivating Indonesian cuisine in October, partnering with Ramos Nenggo, a popular finalist from a national television cooking show. Alongside Michael, the Executive Chef of Atria Hotel & Residences Gading Serpong, they will tantalize your taste buds with a special menu that combines local ingredients with an Italian flair.
Raised in a family hailing from Manado, Chef Ramos comes with a background in law but possesses a deep passion for the food and beverage industry. He is also actively involved in bartending and has created various coffee-related content on his YouTube channel. On the other hand, Chef Michael, born and raised in Yogyakarta, has a profound love for Italian cuisine, which has led him to his current role as the Executive Chef at Bianco Sapori D'Italia.
Their kitchen experiences have ignited their enthusiasm and commitment to revive traditional dishes with flavors that evoke childhood memories. For the amuse-bouche, they have chosen to serve 'Pecak Bandeng,' a historical culinary dish made from milkfish. This dish was once favored by sultans and high-ranking officials in the ancient Kingdom of Banten. Next, 'Asinan Jakarta' is the selected appetizer, resembling a fruit salad served with various vegetables and accompanied by a spicy peanut sauce, vinegar, peanuts, and crackers. This appetizer is commonly found at street food stalls across different regions.
To add their creative touch, they will present modern interpretations of these dishes while maintaining the authenticity of historical Indonesian cuisine. 'Rendang Daging' will be the main course, widely recognized as one of the world's most delicious dishes. Originating from West Sumatra, Rendang is typically made from beef with a rich coconut milk-based sauce. Finally, for dessert, they will serve 'Kolak Pisang,' an Indonesian dessert made from palm sugar, coconut milk, and pandan leaves. It is usually served warm but can also be enjoyed chilled and is a popular street food treat.
"This menu truly reflects the essence of Bianco's restaurant, merging modern cuisine with history to create an extraordinary gastronomic experience. Chef Michael & Ramos understand our guests' expectations in bringing childhood memories to life through food," stated Ega Chandra Firdiansyah, Cluster Marketing Communication Manager of Atria Hotel & Residences Gading Serpong.
The 'Four Hands' menu will be paired with high-quality Australian wine La Boheme, a product of the renowned wine company Pan Pacific Internusa from Indonesia. The event will take place at Bianco Sapori D'Italia, located in Atria Residences Gading Serpong, Lobby Level, on October 13, 2023. The four-course dinner is priced at Rp. 399,000, including wine pairing. For reservations, please contact +6281119018999. Reservations are highly recommended.
