IN HONOUR OF JAKARTA'S ANNIVERSARY 

In celebration of Jakarta’s anniversary, Shangri-La Jakarta presents Timeless Flavours of Betawi, a week-long culinary experience at SATOO restaurant that pays tribute to the city’s rich cultural heritage. Curated by our talented Chef Aris and Chef Darilpin, this special promotion will be available exclusively at dinner from 22 to 29 June 2025, with prices starting from IDR 458,000++ per person.

Honouring the city’s rich heritage, the buffet showcases a thoughtfully composed selection that spans from vibrant street food to comforting home-style classics. Begin with delightful appetisers such as gado-gado, rujak juhi or asinan Betawi, followed by heartwarming soups like sop kaki kambing and soto Betawi

An array of signature main courses awaits, including timeless favourites such as nasi ulam, ikan gabus pucung, pindang bandeng, sayur babanci and sayur besan, all complemented by an assortment of house-made sambals to awaken the palate.

A series of live stations brings the experience to life and elevates the culinary journey. These stations include freshly grilled seafood inspired by Muara Karang, warm bowls of laksa Betawi and mie kangkung and other beloved local delights prepared à la minute.

To complete the evening, indulge in a tempting spread of traditional desserts featuring liveprepared kue cubit and pukis panggang, as well as nostalgic sweets such as es selendang mayang, es teler duren and a colourful medley of kue basah.
