After a series of Rinaldy Yunardi's masterpieces appeared at Haute Couture Week Fall 2023 completing the fashion collection by couturier Iris Van Herpen in Paris, accessory designer Rinaldy Yunardi continues his creativity by creating a collection entitled TIARAS which consists of 35 sets of designs and displayed at The Vow with Hilton, a wedding showcase event. The TIARAS concept was created by Rinaldy with new thoughts. “I look to the past, the journey of my career. From there, I want to emphasize again that in fact, I live from making Tiaras, but over time I have even become better known as a headpiece maker," said Rinaldy, whose headpieces are known to be sensational, worth art pieces, have been worn by Beyonce, Shakira, to Madonna. “Through this collection, I want to return to my true self, the tiara maker. But I didn't want to fall into the conventional presentation stereotype of tiaras worn on the head. In the end, I decided that the tiaras were privileged to be worn by placing them over the headpiece, then placing them both on the head."
The concept of this brilliant thought produces two works in one unit. Tiara as a crown with a unique headpiece as the back. The headpiece design was made by Rinaldy with the freedom of imagination, some in the form of elegant hats typical of British royalty, some in the form of ordinary stamped hats with a pair of dolls on them and one of the dolls holding a tiara, there is also a veil covering her face. In order not to distract the tiara, all headpieces are made of solid black. The tiara design itself is very detailed, mixing elements of Art Nouveau, Victorian and Art Deco styles.
