Sweet, Sticky, and Slightly Over-the-Top:
Chocolate Week Lands at 25hours Hotel The Oddbird
From the moment guests step into the lobby on 7 July, the scent of warm cocoa and toasted churros will say it all: Chocolate Week has landed at 25hours Hotel The Oddbird.
What began as a cheeky nod to World Chocolate Day has spiraled — delightfully —into a full-blown, hotel-wide celebration of all things cocoa. For one week only, chocolate doesn’t just show up on the menu — it steals the spotlight. From mole-slathered short ribs at COPA to dark chocolate Old Fashioneds at Oddbird Bar and a live chocolate fountain bubbling away at Grab & Go, no corner of the hotel escapes the sweet takeover.
It kicks off the way all good stories should: with a treat. Guests checking in on Day One will be greeted by an indulgent welcome amenity — broken chocolate, buttery cookies, and petit fours in four flavors. Downstairs, the lobby hosts a daily Chocolate Hour from 3 to 4 PM, where mugs of thick hot chocolate and takeaway bars are handed out, just because.

At COPA, the kitchen dives deep into Latin roots, turning the traditional mole into something bold and rich — spooned over grilled chicken and slow-cooked short ribs. On the side: house-made churros, golden and crisp. But the real showstopper? Paletas dipped in molten chocolate, served tableside from a rolling gueridon. Guests can choose from a playful mix of toppings — crunchy, sweet, salty, or spicy. On Friday, 11 July, the first 20 guests at lunch and 30 at dinner get theirs on the house — because chocolate tastes better when it’s unexpected.
Over at Oddbird Bar, things get dark — in a good way. Bartenders have been experimenting for weeks, crafting a lineup of limited-edition cocktails with just the right balance of sweetness, spice, and cocoa. Every order comes with a house-made chocolate truffle, but the main act happens on 9 July, as Oddbird tips its hat to International Old Fashioned Day with a moody cacao twist on the classic.
Grab & Go, the hotel’s casual daytime hangout, morphs into a pop-up Chocolate Corner, stocked with pastries, cakes, and cookies that unapologetically lean into chocolate obsession. And on 10 July, the counter gets its own live chocolate fountain —dripping, dunkable, and destined to be a crowd-pleaser.
Meanwhile Cabana, the rooftop poolside hangout, joins the celebration with its signature crispy sweet chocolate pizza, topped and toasted to indulgent perfection. Pair it with one of their refreshing fruit smoothies, and you’ve got the ultimate chill-down after a sunny dip.

The grand finale lands on Sunday, 13 July with the launch of COPA’s Odd Sunday Brunch — a new brunch ritual happening every other Sunday starting this July. For IDR 498,000++ per person, guests can enjoy a leisurely brunch with a twist. The second guest gets 50% off, and a DIY chocolate cookie decorating corner adds a little playfulness to the plate (and probably a bit of mess too). This offer runs exclusively through July and August, and early reservations are highly recommended.
“Chocolate is nostalgic, comforting, a little messy — and a whole lot of fun” says Jesper Soerensen, General Manager of 25hours Hotel The Oddbird “Which pretty much sums up what we try to be at The Oddbird. We don’t take ourselves too seriously, but we do take flavor seriously.”
Chocolate Week runs from 7 to 13 July 2025 at 25hours Hotel The Oddbird, with activations happening daily across COPA, Oddbird Bar, Cabana, Grab & Go, the Lobby, and even in-room.
