Artotel Wanderlust recently hosted the 'More Than Jazz Art: Java Tour 2024', a unique jazz event that combines music with different forms of art. After a successful run in 2023 in Yogyakarta, the event expanded to Semarang, Bandung, and Surabaya in June 2024, with a grand finale in Yogyakarta on June 28, 2024.
The event took place at various Artotel Group properties, including ARTOTEL Gajahmada Semarang, de Braga by ARTOTEL, ARTOTEL TS Suites Surabaya, and ARTOTEL Suites Bianti - Yogyakarta. The tour featured well-known local and national jazz musicians:
Semarang: Seteru Sunyi, Caravan Quintet, 23 Kuartet, and Flow Etnocussion.
Bandung: Arumtala, 5 Petani, Caravan Quintet, and The Art of Jazz.
Surabaya: Dames Nababan, FjazzC featuring Andi Bayou, Livy Laurens, Sweet Swingnoff, and Caravan Quintet.
A special feature of the event was an interactive splash painting activity, where attendees could paint on a giant canvas. Guests also enjoyed a variety of traditional foods and beverages from Artotel Group’s culinary outlets and local businesses.
Tickets for the event were priced at Rp. 100,000 (first drink charge) and were available through the Artotel Wanderlust app.

More Than Jazz Art is a platform for this and a place for guests to appreciate jazz musicians. By expanding beyond Jogja, we hope jazz can be enjoyed by all age groups."
