Actually, this cafe has been around for four years. We have noticed this cafe every time we cross Sutami Street. We always thought this cafe looks interesting and promising. But alas, due to time constraints, we never had the chance to visit. Until finally a few days ago we had the opportunity to visit Halo Hong Kong, and sure enough, this cafe has lots to offer.
In terms of location, even though it is a shophouse, this cafe feels so comfortable. In the front area, there is a coffee bar with several comfortable chairs for hanging out or working, then inside there is a comfortable dining area for eating. Both of these areas have ornaments and murals that give a Hong Kong vibes here.
For food, as the name suggests, this cafe serves a variety of Hong Kong-style food and drinks. The most recommended food here is of course the delicious and varied Hong Kong dim sum, starting from Hakao, Siomay, Pork Siomay, Kuotie, Salted Bun, Shrimp Dumplings, and many more.
Apart from dim sum, you can also order soup, Cantonese roasted duck, roasted pork, baked rice, and Hong Kong noodles. We relished their dimsum, baked rice, and hongkong noodle. All of them were delicious, but our favorite was the hongkong noodle with roasted duck topping, so delicious!
As for drinks, you can find such as coffee, traditional Hong Kong drinks, Chinese herbal tea, juices, and signature mocktails.
Finally for those of you who want to hold special events such as family gatherings, birthday parties, to casual meetings. Halo Hong Kong also has a VIP area on the second floor. The area is quite large and is equipped with a balcony as a smoking area. So if you are looking for delicious Hong Kong-style food in Bandung, don't forget to come here!
