Breaking the fast with freshly sliced fruits felt like the perfect light and refreshing choice before diving into something more indulgent. Our next stop? The Chicken Shawarma station—a personal favorite. The shawarma was wrapped in warm, soft pita bread, with juicy, well-seasoned chicken and a drizzle of tangy garlic sauce—absolutely delicious.
Then, there was the Kambing Guling, an absolute showstopper. The sight alone was enough to make our mouths water, and once paired with the savory Maranggi sauce, it was hands down one of the best we’ve ever had—tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection.
For those who crave Nusantara dishes, this buffet delivers more than just variety. It even features a live sambal-making station, where the spicy aroma of freshly ground chilies filled the air. What better way to enjoy authentic Indonesian flavors than pairing them with a custom-made sambal?
If you’re looking for authentic Arabian dishes, you won’t be disappointed. From creamy Baba Ganoush to aromatic Lamb Kabsah, the selections were both diverse and delicious. Sitting alongside them was Dejaj Mashwi, a beautifully grilled chicken dish that was both juicy and full of bold Middle Eastern spices.
After a full day of fasting, nothing feels quite as satisfying as that first sip of coffee. The Turkish coffee, rich and aromatic, was the perfect post-meal treat—bold, slightly spiced, and deeply invigorating. But if coffee isn’t your thing, Teh Tarik was another standout. Watching the tea being “pulled” was a show in itself, and the result was a beautifully creamy, frothy, and perfectly sweetened drink to end the night on a comforting note.
