In celebration of World Ocean Day on Sunday, 8 June 2025, Lv8 Resort Hotel and VUE Canggu came together with guests and staff for a day dedicated to giving back to our beautiful ocean.
The morning began with a Beach Cleaning activity at Berawa Beach, where staff members and hotel guests joined forces to collect litter and plastic waste along the shoreline. As a beachfront destination, we recognize that preserving the natural beauty of our surroundings is part of our responsibility, and it was heartwarming to see everyone contribute their time and energy to protect this stunning stretch of coast.
The day continued with a special Turtle Release event, held in collaboration with the Bali Turtle Society. Together, we released 80 baby turtles into the ocean — a symbolic and meaningful effort to support the conservation of sea turtles and raise awareness about marine life preservation.
Guests and staff watched with joy as the tiny turtles made their way to the water, knowing they were contributing to a brighter future for Bali’s marine ecosystem.
