Canggu’s brunch scene welcomes Wisteria, a new rooftop dining destination from Wonderspace. The restaurant combines an open-air setting, a relaxed daytime atmosphere, and a menu centred on Western comfort food with Asian-inspired flavours, from a Japanese Shakshuka to a Gochujang Prawn Pappardelle.
Designed for brunch, lunch and afternoons that stretch a little longer, Wisteria is a casual setting for gathering, dining and unwinding, whether over a late morning meal with friends or a leisurely afternoon drink as the day unfolds.
Led by Chef Febry Adhe, the menu reworks Western comfort food through an Asian lens. The Wisteria Benedict takes a brunch classic and tilts it somewhere new. Japanese Shakshuka swaps the expected for flavours and textures borrowed from Japan. For the mains, Gochujang Prawn Pappardelle brings depth and gentle heat to a creamy pasta, while the quieter Gnocchi Kimchi Sauce carries a subtle Korean edge. Closing the selection, the Pandan Waffle gives a daytime staple a tropical finish.
The drinks menu follows the same approach, with a selection of signature cocktails and mocktails created for daytime drinking. The Wisteria Rosella Spritz brings an equally refreshing profile, while the Pink Guava Kemangi Fizz combines fruity notes with the aromatic character of kemangi. The mocktail selection offers equally refreshing options for guests looking to keep things alcohol-free.
Under the direction of Chef Febri Ade, Wisteria's kitchen serves dishes that feel familiar and comforting, with a little surprise in every plate. Western classics form the foundation, enriched with Asian flavours such as gochujang, kimchi and pandan. The same spirit carries over to the bar, where brunch plates, pastas and desserts are matched by signature cocktails and mocktails made for easy, unhurried daytime sipping.
Wisteria’s open-air rooftop setting adds to its easygoing daytime character. Natural light, tropical greenery and an open layout create a social atmosphere that works equally well for casual brunches, group gatherings and leisurely afternoons. The design remains polished without feeling formal, keeping the focus on good food, conversation and an unhurried dining experience.
With its new approach to daytime dining, Wisteria adds another brunch destination to Canggu’s evolving culinary landscape.
