As an Italian professional Gelato Chef and  Sommelier, it was Ettore's lifelong dream to open his own gelato establishment. After spending his childhood helping along his parent's restaurant in Milano, Ettore continued his education and finished his Bachelor's Degree in Science of Food and Agriculture. Along the way, he was enamored with traditional Italian gelato and deeply pursued the depth of its secret with passion. The result was nothing short of spectacular. Ettore finally established his namesake’s gelato brand: Ettore Gelato in Bali island. 

Handcrafted from scratch in his 'factory', Ettore's artisanal gelato is made using local ingredients and combined with an authentic Italian recipe with a twist. For Ettore, Bali provides more than enough natural ingredients to create wide arrays of gelato creations. Some of the freshest raw ingredients such as vanilla, cocoa, passion fruit, strawberry and mangos are carefully combined and concocted into batches of amazing flavors.

Taking a different approach from mainstream parlors, Ettore Gelato is actually created with health and well-being in mind. Each flavor has low sugar content and contains natural fibers that enrich the nutrients in the gelato. All prepared in a way that maximizes the original creaminess and authentic taste. Beside quality natural ingredients curated from specific areas around Bali, attention to detail is also the secret behind Ettore Gelato's extraordinary taste. Amongst a plethora of refreshing variants, Salted Caramel & Honeycomb is one of the most sought out flavors to try. 

Each and every flavor of Ettore Gelato tells a story by itself. There are currently 60 flavors created by Ettore himself, and this number will only increase in the future. Not just a simple 'gelato-on-a-cup/cone', Ettore also provides several variants of the cold refresher to accommodate the customer's own personal taste. From fruity Sorbets, Variegato which adds crunchy toppings or sauces on the delicious gelato, Oat Milk-based selections for vegan, to Gelato Cookie and Cakes!

In its 4th year of endeavor, Ettore Gelato has provided its tantalizing flavors to restaurants and hotels around Bali. The brand's signature freezer and showcase are offered to various venues in the island for all kinds of occasion; from wedding reception to company gathering. Ettore Gelato also provides a unique 'kart' for smaller, more intimate events. You can visit the brand new flagship store in Pererenan, or a little corner at the entrance of Frestive Supermarket, Berawa. 

As a brilliant concept, Chef Ettore embraces his client's creativity as well. Each Ettore Gelato's client is allowed to pour their own idea and transform them into their own personalized gelato; whether in type or flavor. Ettore Gelato also collaborates with other aspiring chefs and fine-dining restaurants to create specialized flavors or events. The brand also occasionally conducts Gelato masterclasses and workshops for those who are drawn to learn more about the Italian cold sweet-cold delight for themselves.
