Padma GIVE: A New Chapter in Padma Hotels’ Commitment to Social and Environmental Responsibility

Padma Hotels is excited to introduce Padma GIVE, a new name representing its dedication to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). "Padma GIVE" stands for Grant, Inspire, Volunteer, and Empower - reflecting our mission to create a meaningful, positive impact on society.

“Contributing to the community and environment should be a natural part of our role, both as a company and as individuals. Therefore, we don’t view it as a mere obligation.” said Ristiana Manao, Padma Hotels’ Corporate Director of Human Resources. Through Padma GIVE, we are committed to elevating our CSR efforts and making a lasting difference in the communities we serve.

 

 

Grant

We aim for our events and activities to be more than just about profit, we also focus on giving back. Through initiatives like the annual Padma Run events in Bandung and Semarang, we raise funds for charitable causes. Previous efforts have focused on enhancing local primary schools, while our most recent Padma Run Semarang supports environmental initiatives in partnership with Bakti Lingkungan Djarum Foundation (BLDF), resulting in the planting of 540 trees across various areas in Semarang. Other properties also run regular initiatives, such as collecting English books for schools in need and recycling plastic bottles, with the proceeds donated to support those who need it.

 

 

Inspire

We believe in sparking inspiration, especially in the younger generation. By regularly visiting schools, we teach practical skills such as English and raise awareness on important issues like plastic waste. Our internship and management training programs also provide vocational and university students with hands-on experience in the professional world.

Volunteer

At Padma Hotels, we believe that giving back is not just about financial support. We dedicate our time to meaningful efforts like beach clean-ups, blood donation drives, and mangrove planting, contributing in ways that make a tangible difference.

Empower

At Padma Hotels, supporting our local communities is one of our core commitments. We empower local businesses not only by sourcing products locally but also through initiatives like our UMKM (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) partnerships, which include creating hotel amenities and setting up stalls at events like Pesta Rakyat padma. We bring local culture to life by featuring traditional musicians and dancers in our performances, as well as offering hands-on experiences with local artisans, such as silver-making and traditional painting workshops. Additionally, we shine a spotlight on local talents through our social media channels. We’re dedicated to celebrating and uplifting our communities in every way possible.
