The Meru Sanur and Bali Beach Hotel, The Heritage Collection, successfully rang in the New Year with first celebration, Wave of Glamour with Anggun, held at the Bali Beach Convention. The spectacular event welcomed 1,200 guests, setting the stage for an unforgettable start to 2025.
The evening commenced at 7:00 PM as guests were greeted by the soulful sounds of a live saxophone performance while mingling and entering the grand venue. The Bali Beach Convention’s opulent ambiance was enhanced by a Grand Buffet meticulously prepared by the resort’s talented chefs, featuring a selection of international and local delicacies that delighted attendees.
The program officially began with a welcoming dance performance by Naluri Manca, capturing the essence of Balinese culture. This was followed by an electrifying live performance by a Top 40 band, setting a vibrant tone for the night. Adding a unique twist, the evening featured a dazzling Cabaret with Aerial Dance, showcasing breathtaking acrobatics and artistry.
One of the event’s standout moments was the Grand Dessert Parade, where the culinary team unveiled the iconic “Baked Alaska.” As the towering dessert was presented, a special message resonated with the audience: “Let this dessert serve as a reminder of the joy of bringing together diverse flavours and cultures, just as it melds rich history with the creativity of our chefs.”
The highlight of the night was the much-anticipated performance by Anggun C. Sasmi, whose soulful voice and dynamic stage presence captivated the audience. Her special performance was the perfect crescendo to a glamorous evening.
As the clock approached midnight, a live DJ performance kept the energy high, leading into the exhilarating fireworks display. With over 500 fireworks lighting up the Sanur sky, the New Year countdown was a dazzling spectacle that left attendees in awe.
