IHG Bali Hotels & Resorts proudly hosted its annual Bali Media Appreciation Gathering, bringing together nearly 30 key media partners for a celebratory afternoon themed “Kinyobi & Kanpai.” Held at the iconic KO Restaurant at InterContinental Bali Resort, the event served as a gesture of gratitude and appreciation, featuring a vibrant Kinyobi Izakaya–style buffet brunch and a special culinary showcase led by Chef Nagata, a remarkably talented 16-year-old chef whose innovative dishes captivated guests and added a distinctive flair to the event, all while embracing the spirit of Japanese dining and warm hospitality.
Representatives from the marketing teams of IHG hotels across Bali attended the celebration, including Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach, Holiday Inn Resort Bali Canggu, Regent Canggu, Holiday Inn Bali Sanur, InterContinental Bali Sanur Resort, Rumah Luwih, Holiday Inn Resort Baruna Bali, Holiday Inn Express Baruna Bali, Holiday Inn Resort Nusa Dua, Voco Bali Seminyak, Holiday Inn Express Sunset Road, InterContinental Bali Resort and the newly opened, Crowne Plaza Labuan Bajo.
The afternoon opened with a welcome speech delivered by Abdul Hafid, representing InterContinental Bali Resort and IHG Bali Hotels. He expressed his gratitude to the media for their continuous support in amplifying IHG Bali’s stories, milestones and brand presence throughout the year. The celebration was elevated with exciting door prizes, ranging from complimentary stays to exclusive experiences, paired with lively games and interactive sessions, along with an easy-listening live acoustic playlist that made the afternoon fun and engaging for all attendees. During the brunch, updates on the IHG Bali pipeline were also shared, including the upcoming Kimpton Sunthaya Ubud, which is set to open in 2026.
