Wellness is no longer limited to gym sessions or structured workouts. Increasingly, people are looking for ways to stay active while building meaningful social connections. Responding to this growing trend, Mövenpick Café has launched Coffee Rave, a monthly community gathering that blends movement, coffee and lifestyle experiences.
Typically held on the first Saturday of every month, Coffee Rave was created as an accessible platform for people to come together, stay active and enjoy a vibrant weekend atmosphere. Special editions are occasionally introduced to coincide with seasonal celebrations and community events. The initiative debuted on 9 May 2026. Its second edition, held on 13 June 2026, embraced the theme "Run, Rave & Goals," drawing inspiration from the excitement surrounding the FIFA World Cup 2026.
The route took participants through several local landmarks such as Muaya Beach and Jimbaran Beach before returning to Mövenpick Café, where the morning continued with music, social interaction and community activities. Supported by local brands and community partners including Squeeze, Javanegra Rainforest Coffee, Dilmah, Move and Run, and various running communities across Bali, the initiative aims to make wellness activities more accessible and enjoyable for a wider audience.
Beyond the fitness aspect, Coffee Rave also incorporates interactive experiences designed to bring the community together. Participants can enjoy special bakery promotions and take part in spin-wheel activities, with opportunities to win complimentary cocktails and dining vouchers. The lucky draw session, held at the end of the program, adds a celebratory touch to the morning.
The next edition will take place on Saturday, 18 July 2026, with a special "Road to the World Cup Final" theme. As football fans count down to the biggest match of the tournament, Coffee Rave invites the community to join the celebration by wearing the jersey of their favorite World Cup finalist team. The morning will feature a 5K community run, an energetic Zumba session and live beats by DJ Rabhit. Participants can also enjoy complimentary coffee, tea and juice throughout the event, along with 15% off fresh bakery selections and morning cocktails starting from IDR 75,000.
Most importantly, Coffee Rave is open to everyone and completely free to join, with no admission fee. Whether you are an experienced runner, a casual walker, a fitness enthusiast, or simply looking for a fun way to spend your Saturday morning, everyone is welcome.
