This December, Fly Bali played a crucial role in supporting national disaster response operations in Sumatra. Following severe impacts in the region, Fly Bali deployed its PK-FBI helicopter as part of an emergency support initiative coordinated with government agencies and humanitarian organizations.
The helicopter was utilized for multiple critical missions, including rapid distribution of medicines, sanitation supplies, food packages, and emergency kits to areas cut off due to infrastructure damage. Accessibility challenges made aerial delivery the fastest and most reliable method, and Fly Bali stepped in to bridge logistical gaps.
In addition to transporting cargo, PK-FBI assisted in the mobilization of medical personnel, volunteers, and response teams to affected zones. The helicopter also conducted aerial assessments to help authorities determine the severity of damage and prioritize recovery areas.
