“As I spend time with food, I realise that food can bring peace. Presenting food in front of guests and it makes me happy because it makes them smile and feel comfortable. With food on the table, we can talk about peace. And I love to share what I have received for free, including knowledge and spirit in food. Especially in local and Indonesian cooking. I imagine that local delicacies will be enjoyed by the world and hope that local Balinese cuisine in particular will be well known in the world. Therefore, it is my dream to see more young people mastering the art of local cuisine instead of modern western food. To achieve this, I've learnt a lot from both experienced culinary experts and mothers who carefully prepare traditional dishes in their home kitchens. I never think that i've learnt enough to know that there's a trend in every era - there's always something new to learn. In terms of style, ingredients and technique. I choose to focus on using local Indonesian spices and grilling in a classic way. slow cooking method, especially the traditional method used by Indonesian mothers in the old days, results in a distinctive distinctive taste in each of my dishes. And that's what I'm crazy about.” said Chef Ron.
