Officially launched on 19 September 2025, in conjunction with World Wellness Weekend, the spa embodies the Conrad brand’s philosophy of personal growth and immersive wellness, where each treatment connects guests to both nature and culture.
Sustainability sits at the heart of Conrad Spa’s concept. Every element, from product selection to packaging, has been thoughtfully curated to align with eco-conscious principles. The spa collaborates with ISUN Skincare, a Colorado-based brand renowned for its wild-crafted and organic ingredients. Treatments also feature locally sourced Balinese products, used in traditional lulur scrubs and massage oils. Guests are invited to take a piece of mindful living home through the spa’s retail offerings, all of which follow green manufacturing principles. This seamless blend of luxury and sustainability defines the new Conrad Spa experience.

Nestled on the third floor within the oceanfront grounds of Conrad Bali, the spa provides a soothing retreat surrounded by lush gardens and the sound of gentle waves. The ambiance is a perfect balance of nature and modern comfort, inviting us to leave behind the rush of daily life. Upon arrival, the tranquil setting instantly put us at ease and set the tone for relaxation and restoration.
Our journey began with a warm welcome and a brief consultation, where the therapist explained each phase of the Conrad Spa Recover Package. Designed to ease muscle tension after physical activity, this signature treatment combines ancient healing traditions with modern wellness techniques for complete rejuvenation.
The Experience: Two Hours of Restorative Bliss
The treatment opened with the Conrad 5 Breaths Ritual, a grounding practice that blends intentional breathing with pressure-point activation to ease the mind into stillness. This simple yet meaningful ritual set a calm foundation for the journey ahead.
Then followed by the foot bath ritual, allowing our body and mind to settle. This was followed by a gentle exfoliation using white mitts, a technique that smooths the skin and stimulates circulation. Once the surface layer was refreshed, the therapist applied warm ISUN Lapis Oil—crafted to a specific temperature—to deeply nourish the skin and ease muscular discomfort.
The first hour focused on the body wrap and scalp massage, which felt incredibly soothing and precise. The therapist’s attentiveness created a sense of total comfort, while the aromatic oil infused a natural, calming scent into the air. Every motion felt intentional and harmonized, creating a rhythm that invited us to fully relax. After a quick shower to refresh between phases, the second hour transitioned into a full-body massage designed to dissolve deep-seated tension. Using a combination of traditional Balinese techniques and firm elbow strokes, the therapist applied just the right amount of pressure to release tight muscles. The signature use of Lapis Lazuli stones—gently heated and glided across the body—added a layer of therapeutic warmth, enhancing relaxation and grounding our energy flow.
The face and scalp massage were particularly memorable. The therapist used a crystal wand to tap into twelve specific pressure points across the face, creating a cooling and refreshing sensation. The precision of each touch and the coolness of the wand blended beautifully, resulting in an indescribably comfortable feeling that made this treatment truly unique.
Our journey concluded with the Conrad 5 Breaths Ritual once more, gently reawakening our senses and bringing the experience full circle. This final moment of mindful breathing offered a smooth transition back to the present, leaving us calm, centered, and renewed.
