Alila Ubud is beginning a new chapter with the arrival of Ida Ayu Putu Raka Susani (Dayu Susani) as General Manager. With more than 20 years of experience in luxury hospitality, Dayu steps into the role with both a seasoned perspective and a heartfelt connection to Bali. Her career path has taken her through some of the island’s most notable resorts. From leading pre-opening teams at Raffles Bali to shaping brand strategies at W Bali – Seminyak, Anantara Seminyak, and most recently Alila Villas Uluwatu, she has played a key role in positioning each property on the global stage. Along the way, she has guided teams through challenges, celebrated milestones, and earned recognition for performance and guest experience.
For Dayu, this appointment is also a return to familiar ground. Earlier in her career she was part of Alila’s cluster sales leadership, working across Alila Villas Uluwatu, Alila Soori, Alila Manggis, and Alila Ubud. Coming back now as General Manager of Alila Ubud feels like a homecoming, with the opportunity to lead the resort where her journey once intertwined with Alila’s story.
