Opening Ceremony of Asta Karya Aryaduta Bandung

After the success of the Sapta Rasa program in the previous quarter, the Aryaduta Hotel Group is once again organizing a series of art and cultural events wrapped in a program titled Asta Karya. This program is participated in by all units under the auspices of the Aryaduta Hotel Group, featuring a diverse lineup of events. Aryaduta Bandung, a hotel known for its Art Deco features in the heart of Bandung, hosts an art exhibition titled "Garis Asimilasi" and a screening event in collaboration with the local community, including the KSS (Seni Santri Community) and Sekewood Film Nest.

The opening of the Asta Karya program series took place on October 21, 2023. It not only featured the exhibition of paintings titled "Garis Asimilasi," curated by Wildan F Akbar and showcasing the unique perspectives of KSS artists combining culture, art, and adventure, but also included entertaining art performances. The event did not stop there; it continued with the screening of short films and the premiere of the film "Diary Tanpa Kata," a collaboration between Aryaduta Bandung and the Sekewood Film Village, shortly after the Art Talk Show with Lutfhia Levina, Marketing Communication Manager of Aryaduta Bandung, along with Wildan, the Curator and Founder of KSS, and Ninuk Gagan, the initiator of Sekewood Film Village.

The painting exhibition and Open-Air Screenings at Aryaduta Bandung will last for 7 days, from October 21 to October 28, 2023. During this time, visitors can enjoy not only paintings but also various artworks located in the Aryaduta Hotel lobby. After viewing the painting exhibition, visitors can watch the screening of "Swargaloka The Garden Restaurant" film every day from seven in the evening until nine at night.

The Asta Karya program will continue until November 2023, promising many surprises, including signature drinks crafted by Aryaduta Bandung, such as "Bandung Drankje" made from bandrek and Aryaduta Bandung's special blend, and "Tody Van Java" made from whiskey mixed with cinnamon and lemon, served with a typical West Java dish, Rangginang.

"The opening of Asta Karya was very well done and warm, but, in reality, this program means a lot to me because it's not just about showcasing its beauty. Asta Karya is much more than that; we want to change the perception of the community, especially the guests coming to Aryaduta Bandung, about how rich in culture and art the city of Bandung is," concluded Lutfhia Levina, Marketing Communication Manager.
