Sindang Reret Restaurant, a Sundanese restaurant which is famous for its Sundanese cuisine since 1973, will have its 50th birthday on August 12, 2023. In this 50-year journey, Sindang Reret, which is a culinary icon of West Java, is consistent in efforts to preserve culture, especially in the culinary field, namely preserving West Javanese specialties. They do this as a concrete form of supporting government programs in terms of preserving culture and promoting local wisdom.
To celebrate this golden anniversary, Sindang Reret Restaurant will hold 'Festival Kuliner Sunda Buhun & Legendaris' which will last for two days on 12 -13 August 2023 at Sindang Reret Hotel & Restaurant - Cikole Lembang, open to the public from 9am to 5pm.
The event, which is named “PUSAKA Sindang Reret” Sundanese Culinary Festival, will present 350 types of delicious and authentic West Javanese food & drinks, which will be served by reliable chefs from the Sindang Reret Restaurant.
The price will be at IDR 100,000 (Wareg Pisan Package Voucher), visitors can also enjoy various types of menu choices ranging from appetizers, and main meals, to drinks and snacks.
In addition to the Culinary Festival activities, there will also be a Professional Cooking Competition on August 12 2023 and a Children's Pasanggiri Jaipong Competition on August 13 2023 as well as performances from Saung Angklung Udjo, Ega Robot Percussion & Rika Rafika, Cooking Demo by Chef Muto and also a Cullinary Talkshow.
