Truce & Dualism Bring a New Flavor Experience to VINYL

Hotel Indigo Bandung Dago Pakar once again invites its Neighbours to discover a different kind of nightlife experience through VINYL Bar Takeover Vol. X, a collaborative edition bringing together two bars with distinctive identities: Dualism and Truce. 

Hosted at VINYL, a listening bar and speakeasy that celebrates music, flavor, and creative dialogue, this edition presents contrasting yet complementary cocktail approaches. More than a traditional bar takeover, VINYL Bar Takeover Vol. X becomes a space for exploration—where sound, taste, and collaboration converge in an intimate, immersive night. 

At VINYL, music is not merely background—it is an essential part of the experience. Thoughtfully curated vinyl selections shape a calm yet vibrant atmosphere, allowing every conversation, every cocktail, and every moment to unfold organically. 

This listening bar concept forms the foundation of VINYL’s collaborative spirit—inviting creators, bartenders, and communities to explore new perspectives, both in flavor and in the way nightlife is experienced. 

For VINYL Bar Takeover Vol. X, Teresza, Head Bartender of Dualism, and Aldho Goenawan, Head of R&D at Truce, take over the bar in person. Each brings a flavor philosophy that reflects the core identity of their respective venues. 

Dualism is known for its clean, precise, and conceptual approach, while Truce offers a warm, layered, and character-driven exploration of flavor. This collaboration is not about dominance, but about dialogue—two perspectives meeting and complementing each other within the world of modern cocktails. 

Four signature cocktails are created exclusively for this takeover night, each representing the distinct character of Dualism and Truce. 

From Dualism: 

• TATEMAE 
  A zesty, herbal creation with cool mint notes, delivering a clean and controlled balance of sweet and savory. 

• OCEANUS 
  A bright grapefruit-based cocktail with sharp botanicals and a subtle smoky aroma—light, sparkling, and expressive. 

From Truce: 

• LAST TRAIN BOULEVARDIER 
  A warm and complex interpretation of the classic boulevardier, layered with apple notes and a gentle smoky finish. 

• GOLDEN HOUR 
  A playful yet bold cocktail combining miso caramel, tropical fruits, and fresh citrus in a single glass. 

As with previous editions, VINYL Bar Takeover is designed as a complete nighttime experience. Cocktails are served alongside carefully curated vinyl music, creating an intimate speakeasy atmosphere—where music sets the rhythm of the night, and flavor becomes a storytelling medium.
