The Papandayan International Jazz Online Competition (TPJC) 2026 returns as a global meeting point for jazz musicians from around the world. Carrying the theme “Unity in Harmony,” TPJC invites musicians to express their identity, creativity, and musical stories through the universal language of jazz—beyond geographical and physical boundaries.
Initiated during the pandemic, TPJC has grown into an international online jazz competition that consistently provides broad access for both professional and amateur jazz bands. Through its digital format, TPJC not only presents a competition, but also builds a creative ecosystem that encourages cultural exchange, collaboration, and cross-border connections.

The journey of TPJC 2026 begins with the following initial stages:
- Registration Period: 20 December 2025 – 31 January 2026
- Performance Video Submission: 31 January – 31 March 2026
All registrations and video submissions must be completed exclusively via www.tpjazzfest.com.
To maintain the artistic quality and credibility of the competition, TPJC 2026 presents a distinguished panel of judges comprising prominent figures in the jazz world: Venche Manuhutu, Hari Pochang, Dwiki Dharmawan, and Barry Likumahuwa, alongside two international judges to be announced soon. The presence of these judges is expected to bring diverse artistic perspectives and further strengthen TPJC’s position as a world-class jazz competition.
Founder of TP Jazz Management, Bobby Renaldi, emphasized that TPJC is not merely about competition, but about a musical journey.
“We designed TPJC as an inclusive global stage. In the digital era, we believe talent is no longer defined by location, but by the courage to create and share one’s voice with the world. TPJC is not just about competition, it is a musical journey. Every submission carries a story, character, and the spirit of jazz from its place of origin,” said Bobby Renaldi.
TPJC 2026 is open to the Youth Jazz category (under 23 years old) and Jazz Warrior category (above 23 years old). In addition to international recognition, winners of TPJC 2026 will have the opportunity to receive cash prizes totaling hundreds of millions of rupiah, trophies, as well as the chance to perform at The Papandayan Jazz Fest 2026 and collaborate with leading jazz musicians. Beyond awards, TPJC serves as a gateway to a broader international jazz network and is envisioned as a celebration of jazz as a medium of unity, creative dialogue, and global harmony.
