Embracing the spirit of sharing during the holy month of Ramadan, Swiss-Belresort Dago Heritage Bandung hosted a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) event on 5 March, inviting 40 children from nearby orphanages, Panti Asuhan Khoerunnisa and Yayasan La Yashu La Yanam, for a meaningful iftar gathering at the hotel.
The event began with welcoming remarks from Mr. Gerri Primacitra, General Manager of Swiss-Belresort Dago Heritage, followed by remarks from the hotel owner and representatives of the orphanages. The program continued with a prayer led by an ustadz and Qur’an recitations performed by the children, creating a warm and spiritual Ramadan atmosphere.
As part of the CSR initiative, the hotel also distributed goodie bags and donations to the children. The evening concluded with a group photo session and a joyful iftar dinner, strengthening the sense of togetherness and compassion among everyone present. Prior to the iftar gathering, the team of Swiss-Belresort Dago Heritage also shared the Ramadan spirit with the surrounding community by distributing free takjil in the area around the hotel during the afternoon before the breaking of the fast.
"Ramadan is a special time to share kindness and strengthen our connection with the community around us. Through this CSR activity, we hope to bring joy to the children and remind ourselves of the importance of compassion, gratitude, and togetherness," said Gerri Primacitra, General Manager of Swiss-Belresort Dago Heritage.
Through initiatives like this, Swiss-Belresort Dago Heritage remains committed to supporting the local community and spreading the spirit of generosity during the blessed month of Ramadan.
