BANDUNG — In celebration of Indonesia’s 81st Independence Day, Swiss-Belresort Dago Heritage Bandung brought the spirit of Merdeka to life through a series of engaging activities that combined wellness, movement, teamwork and celebration. The Independence celebration began with “The Independence Flow,” a special Pilates session held in collaboration with POSED, inviting participants to celebrate freedom through movement while enjoying the scenic surroundings of Dago.
Held on 15 August 2026, the session brought together wellness enthusiasts for a refreshing morning of Pilates, connection and positive energy. Set against the beautiful Dago landscape, the experience offered participants an opportunity to start the Independence celebration with mindful movement while embracing the spirit of freedom and togetherness.
With the theme “Celebrate Freedom Through Movement,” The Independence Flow was designed not only as a fitness session, but also as a celebration of personal wellbeing and community. Participants enjoyed a complete wellness experience, including Pilates with mats provided, an all-you-can-eat breakfast by Swiss-Belresort Dago Heritage, a 10-minute relaxation massage by Anathaya Spa, games with exciting prizes, exclusive products and goodie bags from participating partners, as well as door prizes and special vouchers.
The event was made possible with the support of valued partners and sponsors, including Anathaya Wellness, Make Over, Macra Beauty, Event Paragon Bandung, and POSED, whose contributions helped create a memorable Independence celebration for all participants.
“Through The Independence Flow, we wanted to create a meaningful way to celebrate Independence Day—not only through a traditional celebration, but through movement, wellness and connection. Freedom can be celebrated in many forms, and we believe that taking care of ourselves, connecting with others and moving together are also beautiful expressions of that freedom,” said Atika Nurlia, Public Relations Manager of Swiss-Belresort Dago Heritage Bandung.
