Bandung’s nightlife continues to move beyond the conventional as VINYL Music Cocktail Bar announces Bar Takeover Vol. XII, happening on Saturday, 16 May 2026, from 20.00 WIB until late. More than a guest shift behind the bar, this edition introduces a new perspective on drinking culture one where sustainability, experimentation, and hospitality converge into a single immersive experience.
Located on the 16th floor of Hotel Indigo Bandung Dago Pakar, VINYL has become a destination where cocktails and music exist in constant dialogue. Inspired by the culture of vinyl records, the venue approaches nightlife as a curated sensory journey, where sound selection, atmosphere, and cocktail craftsmanship evolve together throughout the evening. For its twelfth edition, VINYL welcomes PENICILLIN, the groundbreaking cocktail bar from Hong Kong founded by Agung Prabowo and Laura Prabowo, internationally recognized for redefining sustainability in modern mixology. Together with Jacob Laxamana, the team behind PENICILLIN will bring their forward-thinking philosophy and globally celebrated craft to Bandung for one night only.
Far beyond the idea of sustainability as a trend, PENICILLIN operates with a deep-rooted farm-to-bar philosophy, transforming locally sourced and upcycled ingredients into cocktails that challenge traditional expectations of flavor and waste.
