Swiss-Belresort Dago Heritage and Zest Sukajadi Bandung started a series of events to welcome the hotel's anniversaries on this November and December by collaborating with the West Java Provincial Forestry Service and planting 141 trees of Manglid, Puspa, Rasamala, Kina and Solatri trees in Forest Park at Ir. H. Djuanda (Tahura), in the Dago area because it's known as the lungs for Bandung area as a form of corporate social responsibility on Friday, August 16 2024.
The tree planting activity with the theme "Plan More Trees – Swiss-Belhotel International's CSR Cluster Hotel Bandung" was attended by directors, management, and hotel employees, Mr Dodit Ardian Pancasapana S.T. M. Sc as Head of the West Java Provincial Forestry Service and also Mr Lutfi Erizka S.Ikom, as Head of UPTD Tahura Ir. H. Djuanda, who also helped with the overall tree planting process.
"Tree planting activities are planned to be part of our routine corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities. This activity is a concrete manifestation of the hotel industry's efforts to eliminate the climate change effects and as a sustainable program for hotels. This CSR activity was also special because it was one of the activities to welcome the Swiss-Belresort Dago Heritage and Zest Sukajadi Bandung anniversaries which are coming soon." said Mr. Gerri Primacitra, General Manager of Swiss-Belresort Dago Heritage Bandung.
"We organized this event not only to increase the sense of togetherness between employees between the two hotels, Swiss-Belresort Dago Heritage and Zest Sukajadi Bandung but also to increase the sense of concern for our hotels surrounding environments, especially in the Bandung city itself where our hotels located. Swiss-Belresort Dago Heritage and Zest Sukajadi Bandung hope that the handover and planting of forest tree seeds can naturally increase oxygen and can provide clean air and blue skies for Bandung," said Mr Tri Wenda Agus Setyabudi, Hotel Manager of Zest Sukajadi Bandung.
This activity showed how responsible actions towards nature can be intertwined with economic benefits, create harmony between humans and their habitat, and ensure prosperity and sustainability for future generations.
