We were fortunate to get an exclusive preview before its grand reopening on February 1st.
The restaurant showcased its signature dishes, and without a doubt, the Roasted Duck stood out as a star of the evening. Our dinner experience was more than just about the food—it was a heartwarming reunion with a space that feels like a home long left untouched, yet still holding onto its inviting warmth and tranquility.
From delicate dim sum to perfectly steamed Sunhock fish, followed by freshly made Lamien noodles and an array of comforting dishes paired with fragrant Hainan rice, each bite was a reminder of why Cha Yuen remains a favorite. Even with our stomachs already full, the sight of the beautifully glazed Roasted Duck was impossible to resist. After all, no visit to a Chinese restaurant would be complete without it.
