As dessert shops and sweet treat cafes continue taking over Bandung lately, one place that absolutely deserves a spot on your must-visit list is D.dough Doughnut and Cookies. At first glance, you might think it’s just another trendy artisan doughnut shop — but trust us, it’s not. D.dough has quietly become one of the city’s most exciting dessert spots thanks to its signature fluffy pumpkin doughnuts that instantly set them apart from the usual donuts we know.

The moment you bite into one, you’ll notice the difference. Their pumpkin-based dough creates a texture that feels softer, fluffier, slightly chewy, and much richer in flavor. It’s comforting, light, and indulgent all at once. D.dough actually offers quite a variety of doughnut flavors, but during our visit, we tried the Pistachio, Light Creme Chocolate, and Strawberry Lemonade. The Pistachio — also known as their bestseller — easily stole the spotlight with its creamy nutty flavor and smooth filling that paired perfectly with the soft pumpkin dough.

What makes the experience even more special is D.dough’s attention to quality ingredients. They use premium Elle & Vire butter, which gives their pastries and desserts a richer and more luxurious taste. It’s one of those details you may not immediately see, but you can definitely taste.
And despite the name, D.dough is not only about doughnuts. They also serve pastries, chunky cookies, coffee, and several trending desserts that make every visit dangerously tempting. We also enjoyed their Signature Matcha and Melt n Crunchy Caramel coffee — comforting drinks that paired beautifully with the rich pastries and soft pumpkin doughnuts.

One menu we unexpectedly fell in love with was their Eggtart collection. Available in Cheese, Vanilla, and Matcha flavors, these little treats quickly became one of our favorite discoveries there. For all matcha enthusiasts, the Matcha Eggtart is an absolute must-try. The filling is creamy and smooth with just the right earthy matcha flavor — not overly sweet, but still satisfying enough to keep you wanting another bite. Plus, they come in beautiful packaging, making them perfect as a thoughtful gift idea for friends, family, or someone special.

Another menu you seriously shouldn’t skip is their newest viral dessert: Butter Tteok. This Korean-inspired sweet treat has been popping up everywhere lately, but D.dough’s version genuinely stands out. The outside is perfectly crunchy while the inside stays incredibly soft and chewy. Served with sweet dipping sauces like Pistachio, Chocolate, and Strawberry, every bite feels playful and comforting at the same time. We honestly loved all the flavors, but the Strawberry sauce became our personal favorite — sweet, fresh, and just perfectly balanced.

Beyond the desserts, D.dough also nails the atmosphere. The space feels bright but still warm and cozy, with a minimalist interior that looks aesthetically pleasing without feeling cold or overly formal. It’s the kind of place where you can comfortably spend hours — whether for a work-from-cafe session, a slow breakfast alone, or simply catching up with friends over coffee and pastries.

D.dough Doughnut and Cookies is more than just another dessert cafe in Bandung. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back before you’ve even finished your last bite.
