As part of its commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and operational security, éL Hotel Bandung conducted a comprehensive Fire Drill Simulation in collaboration with the Dinas Kebakaran dan Penanggulangan Bencana Kota Bandung (Bandung Fire and Disaster Management Agency) on Monday, 16 February 2026, at the hotel premises.
The simulation forms part of the hotel’s ongoing Emergency Preparedness Program, designed to ensure that all safety procedures are implemented effectively and in accordance with established operational standards.
The exercise was carried out in a structured and systematic manner, encompassing scenariobased fire detection, emergency reporting procedures, activation of the fire alarm system, interdepartmental coordination, proper use of fire extinguishers (APAR), and full evacuation procedures to designated assembly points.
The activity involved the hotel management team and employees across all departments, under the direct supervision and guidance of the Bandung Fire Department officers. This collaborative approach aims to strengthen awareness, clarify individual roles and responsibilities, and enhance coordinated response during emergency situations.
Management of éL Hotel Bandung reaffirmed that the safety and well-being of guests and employees remain a top priority. Through regular training and simulations such as this, the hotel continues to foster a strong culture of safety, vigilance, and procedural compliance in line with hospitality industry standards.
