Bandung Independent School (BIS) marked a significant milestone with the grand opening of its newest building on January 14, 2025. The expansion introduces cutting-edge science laboratories and dedicated wellness spaces, reinforcing the school’s commitment to holistic education.
The event brought together students, faculty, staff, and donors from the Leave Your Legacy campaign for the unveiling of state-of-the-art facilities designed to enhance both academic and personal development.
One of the standout additions is the advanced Science Labs and prep room, equipped with modern tools to support hands-on experiments and scientific exploration. The space aims to foster critical thinking and innovation, offering students an immersive learning experience across various scientific disciplines.
Beyond academics, BIS is also prioritizing student well-being with the introduction of a Fitness Center and Wellness Room. The Fitness Center features weights and cardio equipment, providing opportunities for the school community to focus on physical health. Meanwhile, the Wellness Room offers a quiet space for relaxation, meditation, and mindfulness activities, reflecting a growing emphasis on mental and emotional well-being in education.
