Renaissance Bali Uluwatu Resort & Spa is pleased to announce the appointment of Dewa Kade Satria Gamita as its new Director of Beverage & Food, bringing with him over a decade of experience in the hospitality industry and a career journey shaped by growth, versatility, and passion for service.
Satria began his career in hospitality through airport services as a handling staff, marking his first step into the service industry. His exposure to guest interaction and operations sparked a strong interest in hotels, leading him to pursue a long-term career in hospitality. He went on to build his experience through a wide range of roles, including Call Centre Agent, Catering & Conference Service Manager, Event Manager, Director of Weddings & MICE, and Director of Event Management, developing a strong foundation across operations, sales, and events.
Throughout his career, Satria has grown steadily within the hospitality industry, gaining broad experience across food and beverage operations, weddings, MICE, catering, and large-scale events. Working across various hotel environments in Bali, he developed a comprehensive understanding of lifestyle-driven hospitality, with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences while maintaining strong operational performance.
During his tenure at The Stones Legian, Bali – Autograph Collection Hotels, Satria’s leadership supported strong food and beverage performance while also championing sustainability initiatives. His team earned recognition for Best Sustainability Food Competition in Marriott International Asia Pacific, reflecting his commitment to responsible sourcing and environmentally conscious culinary practices.
Most recently, Satria served as Director of Food & Beverage at Padma Resort Ubud, where he continued to refine his leadership approach while overseeing dining and event operations within a destination resort setting. This role further strengthened his experience in managing diverse culinary outlets and catering environments.
In his new role, Satria will oversee the resort’s diverse culinary and events portfolio, including Double Ikat, Clay Craft, R Bar, the pool bars, and Roosterfish Beach Club. Working closely with the sales and events teams, he will focus on growing catering and event revenues while reinforcing the resort’s positioning as a leading premium lifestyle destination for Uluwatu weddings, inspired dining and MICE experiences.
