This festive season, we warmly invite you to celebrate Galungan and Kuningan with us at Adiwana Svarga Loka, an authentic Balinese riverside retreat nestled in the lush jungle of Penestanan, overlooking the sacred Campuhan River. Once a spiritual healing center, our resort is now a serene sanctuary where Balinese culture, nature, and wellness harmoniously intertwine. Designed to honor the heritage of Bali, our resort offers guests a tranquil escape in the heart of Ubud, with a deep connection to the island’s traditions and spiritual rhythm.
In 2025, Galungan celebrations begin on Tuesday, April 22 (Penampahan Galungan), followed by Galungan Day on Wednesday, April 23, and Umanis Galungan on Thursday, April 24. The series continues with Kuningan Day on Saturday, May 3, and Umanis Kuningan on Sunday, May 4. These sacred Balinese Hindu holidays celebrate the victory of dharma (good) over adharma (evil) and honor the return of ancestral spirits to the earthly realm.
To embrace the sacredness of the season, we offer our guests the opportunity to immerse themselves in meaningful Balinese traditions alongside our local team.
