Samsara Ubud proudly hosted its annual charity event, Tree of Hope, on Friday, November 29, 2024, with an inspiring opening speech by Mr. Paulus Tuasuun, General Manager of Samsara Ubud. In his remarks, Mr. Tuasuun highlighted the history and significance of the event, which has been a cherished tradition since 2018. He expressed deep gratitude to the owner of Samsara Ubud, Mr. Bayu Hendro, whose unwavering dedication to supporting education has been the driving force behind this initiative.
The Tree of Hope is a fundraising event aimed at providing educational support to underprivileged children in the communities surrounding Samsara Ubud. Throughout December, guests staying at Samsara Ubud are invited to participate by donating funds, which will be used to provide essential educational resources for children in need.
The event commenced with a symbolic tree-lighting ceremony at the lobby, signifying hope and collective effort. This was followed by an intimate three-course dinner, bringing together guests, supporters, and the local community in a heartwarming celebration of giving.
Through this meaningful initiative, Samsara Ubud aspires to make a tangible difference in the lives and futures of children in the nearby villages. The resort firmly believes that education is the most valuable investment for a better tomorrow.
