From the moment we walked in, Blossom’s unique charm drew us in. The ambiance balances modern sophistication and comfort, with dark marble tables, plush leather sofas, jade stone accents, and vast window panels that bathe the restaurant in natural light.

For those seeking a more intimate setting, Blossom also offers a private dining area, conveniently tucked inside its indoor space, perfect for special gatherings or a more exclusive dining experience. As we settled in, we were welcomed with a thoughtful touch: warm sourdough bread served with homemade sun-dried tomato butter. This delightful starter set the tone for a meal marked by fresh flavors and premium ingredients.

Leading the kitchen is none other than Chef Brenton Banner, an award-winning chef from Australia. With over 14 20 years of culinary experience, Chef Brenton has become renowned in Bali, having previously lent his expertise to the acclaimed CasCades Restaurant, and Golden Monkey & Dapur Raja in Ubud. His passion for top-quality ingredients and thoughtful preparation shines through in every dish, elevating the dining experience at Blossom.

An Upscale Culinary Journey

Our tasting journey began with a fresh and flavorful beef tartare, seasoned to perfection with a balance of sweet and tangy notes. Paired with crispy sourdough crackers, the tartare’s delicate flavors were truly enhanced by its crunchy companion. The fresh oysters were another highlight, served with a tangy vinegar onion sauce that accentuated their natural taste.

The main course showcased Blossom's standout offerings. We savored the Indonesian Wagyu ribeye, perfectly marbled and cooked to our exact specifications. Each bite was tender, juicy, and full of rich, deep flavors, enhanced by our choice of chimichurri and green peppercorn sauces. Paired with this indulgent steak, the creamy spinach topped with crunchy croutons and the buttery, perfectly layered potato gratin were exceptional side dishes that rounded out the flavors beautifully. We also sampled the grilled prawns, which were served with a light lemon butter sauce and a refreshing watercress salad—an ideal pairing for a light yet flavorful option.

To complete our meal, we indulged in Blossom’s decadent desserts. The New York Chocolate Cookie, filled with caramelized chocolate sauce and served with raspberry gelato, was a standout. The contrasting textures and flavors—from the rich, gooey chocolate to the refreshing tartness of the gelato—made for a memorable end to the meal. We also tried the pavlova, a lovely mix of crunchy meringue, smooth cream, and fresh fruit, adding a light yet satisfying sweetness to our dining experience.
