Bar Vera Collaborates with Chef Andreas Papadakis to launch their Chef Series.
Bar Vera, a bistro in Pererenan that offers a modern Parisian dining experience, is excited to announce the first of its Chef Series with renowned Melbourne-based chef Andreas Papadakis. The collaboration will unveil on May 13th from 12 PM, featuring Athens-born Chef Andreas Papadakis, who has over 25 years of experience in the culinary industry.
Andreas has been involved in an array of personal and collaborative ventures, including consulting, pop-up appearances, art cuisine installations, events, and culinary classes throughout Australia. Currently, he is the Chef and Co-owner of award-winning Italian restaurants in Melbourne CBD, such as Tipo 00, Osteria Ilaria, and most recently Figlia and Grana in Brunswick East.
Chef Andreas will be traveling to Bali exclusively to cook at Bar Vera for lunch on May 13th, 2023. His cooking style has been described as "grounded in fabulous produce and the soundest of techniques, with a deceptively simple Mediterranean approach that makes many a poor fool think good Italian is easy."
Head Chef Keir Ballantyne, is looking forward to cooking alongside Chef Andreas Papadakis. "It's exciting to have such a distinguished chef as Andreas Papadakis travel to Bali to cook exclusively at Bar Vera, we cannot wait to have him in the kitchen cooking with us for our guests," he says.
Tickets for the one-off lunch cost IDR 750K++ per person for the set menu. Wine pairings will be available on the night, and sittings are available from 12 PM.
