This season, ARYADUTA Bali introduced a new festive highlight with 'Christmas Reverie', a unique Christmas dinner experience featuring a continuous two-hour ballet performance in collaboration with the Royal Ballet School Bali. Held on Sunday, 14 December 2025 at The Heavens, this unique event combined fine dining with classical ballet, offering guests an unforgettable festive experience. It was warmly welcomed by families and ballet enthusiasts alike.
One of the most respected ballet academies on the island, Royal Ballet School Bali is renowned for its internationally recognised training based on the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) London curriculum. With multiple branches across Bali, the school provides professional pathways through international exams, workshops and competitions, attracting students ranging from young children to teenagers seeking a high-quality classical ballet education.
'Christmas Reverie' offered guests the choice of an exclusive set-menu dinner or a seat-only package. Unlike most ballet showcases, which focus solely on the stage performance, this event blended art and culinary experience, enabling guests to enjoy a festive dinner while being serenaded by live ballet storytelling. ARYADUTA Bali served an elegant set menu featuring vegan and Western options for dinner. Guests enjoyed dishes such as Harmony Garden, comprising charred cauliflower steak with turmeric couscous and smoked aubergine purée, alongside Western options such as Pirouette of the Sea, comprising pan-seared cod with lemon beurre blanc, and The Swan’s Embrace, comprising tender braised beef cheek with red wine jus. This thoughtful menu complemented the graceful ballet performances, creating a seamless blend of festive dining and classical artistry.

The two-hour performance was accompanied by iconic Christmas melodies such as 'Jingle Bells', 'We Wish You a Merry Christmas', 'To Love You More' by Celine Dion, and other seasonal favourites. The atmosphere was heartwarming and family-friendly, with over 100 guests in attendance, mostly families and proud parents supporting the young ballerinas on stage.
General Manager RM Rendy Prapanca shared his reflections on the evening: 'We chose Royal Ballet School Bali as our partner because we share the same vision for Christmas: to celebrate it in a different and happier way. Holding the event at The Heavens Chapel and combining it with a Christmas ballet performance during this festive season created a uniquely joyful experience. Seeing smiles from both the audience and the performers made this year's celebration even better than last year's."
Adding to the celebrations, Jewel Arcia Ruslim, founder of the Royal Ballet School Bali, expressed her joy in seeing her students shine. 'We are happy to see the growth and excitement of our ballerinas. I hope they can always find inspiration, inspire others, and continue to become the best versions of themselves.”
The success of 'Christmas Reverie' sets the tone for ARYADUTA Bali’s ongoing commitment to creating memorable, family-centred festive experiences that blend art, culture and hospitality.
