After a series of critically acclaimed sold-out shows in Bali, we are honoured to have concert pianist, Pavel Artemiev, perform at Padma Resort Legian for this very special occasion, having attended most recently the performance of George Harliono. With a mother and a grandmother who were both concert pianists, Pavel took up playing the piano at the tender age of 4, and by the age of 10, he had won 15 regional piano awards. Recognised as a special talent at this very young age, he was accepted into the country’s most highly acclaimed Moscow Central Music School and graduated from Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory with a Master’s in music. Pavel was a student of one of the most revered contemporary piano professors, Elena Rudolpho Richter, who in turn was a student of the legendary Heinrich Gustav Neuhaus, and Pavel is very proud to demonstrate their teachings and styles through his own interpretations of the classics.
Pavel went on to win the Scriabin’s Foundation prize in 2004 as well as going on to be a finalist in the Russian National Music Awards in the category for “Artist of The Year in Classical Music”. Pavel has toured across Europe and Asia in recent years and whilst he makes Bali his home this is a golden opportunity to enjoy an incredible pianist perform in a very intimate setting. We hope you can join us for this very special performance, and occasion, as we join Pavel Artemiev in celebrating his birthday with a performance dedicated to Frédéric Chopin.
On Sunday, 30 June 2024, doors will open from 6PM, and the concert will commence at 7.30PM.
A bar and a range of food concessions will operate before the concert and during the intermission, and ticket holders will also receive a 20% discount voucher for our on-site F&B outlets including TENKAI Japanese Nikkei Restaurant and Makan Place, both of which are situated within the grounds of Padma Resort Legian.
