The spirit of creativity and collaboration brews stronger than ever as MILKLAB proudly presents MILKLAB Bali Café Creation 2025 — a drink competition celebrating the innovation of Bali’s café scene. This initiative invites cafés across the island to craft signature drinks using MILKLAB’s plant-based milk range — showcasing their story, artistry, and passion in every cup.

After a wave of enthusiasm and inspiring submissions, the registration has officially been closed on 18 July. Now, the power is in your hands. It’s time to vote and support your favourite cafés! Twenty three (23) selected drinks from twenty (20) cafes across Bali have poured their creativity into delicious, visually stunning drinks using MILKLAB — and now we’re looking for the Top 12, chosen by you, the public! The drinks will be judged primarily on their presentation and story, so vote for the ones that inspire you the most.

Voting Period: 20 July – 15 August 2025
Each person can vote for up to 3 favorite café drinks

THE FINAL SHOWDOWN: 27 AUGUST 2025

The 12 most-voted cafés will compete live at the Final Showdown, where an expert panel of judges will crown the top 3 winners based on: visual representation, beverage aesthetics, storytelling & introduction, taste appeal and overall experience Meet the Judges:

• Willy Sidewalk - Willy Sidewalk is the author of Barista #NoCingCong, 2011 Indonesia Barista Competition Surabaya Champion, and a seasoned coffee professional with over 15 years of experience as a barista, judge, consultant, and trainer. Willy will lead the judging panel as the Head Judge.

• Anthony Douglas – World Barista Champion 2022 and MILKLAB’s Global Brand Ambassador.

• Yande J. Wirawan – Head Barista and Coffee Trainer at Expat Roasters and MILKLAB’s Global Brand Ambassador.

• Bili Yoga Wirawan – 2024 Best Restaurant Mixologist of the Year by @lesgrandestablesdumonde.

• Karlie Cummins – Founder of Bali Buddies and Indo Buddies
