Camparino in Galleria is a historic bar in Milan located at Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, with a direct view of the Cathedral Church in Milan or often called the Duomo. As an icon and symbol of the aperitif par excellence, it has a strong connection to the city of Milan as well as to the artistic and cultural context of the 20th century. Until now, Camparino in Galleria remains a meeting place, for both locals and foreign tourists, thanks to its two iconic locations and areas namely Bar di Passo and Sala Spiritello.
Camparino in Galleria: Excellent Products Made from Italy
In fact, the Bar di Passo, located on the ground floor, is a fairly large outdoor area with views of the Galleria and still retains its signature Art Nouveau heritage thanks to a conservative restoration aimed at increasing its unique value. Sala Spiritello, on the other hand, is located on the second floor and is designed for a premium and more intimate experience. The room is decorated with the original Spiritello by painter and illustrator Leonetto Cappiello, a work of art from 1921 that has become a true icon of the Campari brand.
Service at the Bar in Passo is done in a completely traditional way, with food on tables or chairs, designed for ease and ensuring movement. The bar in Passo is an inescapable cross between the past and the modern, where heritage is mixed with a desire for modernity, so that time seems to stand still. Sala Spiritello, on the other hand, is a place where cocktails and food combine into an experience designed for one person, to offer new and enthralling sensations, contrasting flavors, and surprising combinations. The place where the artist's mixology comes to life, directly facing the cathedral square or Piazza Duomo. That's why it's designed to provide an intimate, enthralling and premium experience.
Camparino in Galleria isn't just the hallmark of great mixology around the world; but this prestigious venue also offers innovative culinary experiences to its guests. The menus for both Bar di Passo and Sala Spiritello are inspired by their philosophy: the combination of cocktails and food. It is the result of a study of the best combinations of food and cocktails to elevate them with a distinctly Italian touch, a special connection to the city of Milan and its international soul. The blends served at Bar di Passo are true to tradition, while those served at Sala Spiritello are more innovative.
However, the Camparino in Galleria is not only a meeting point or symbol of Milan's aperitivo ritual, but also a point of prominence and pride for the city. Over time, this place managed to build its prestige in the landscape of drinks and mixology in Italy and outside Italy.
Camparino from Italy did a bar takeover at Roma Osteria Jakarta by bringing in Tommasso and Saverio who were flown directly from Italy for this event and Jakarta itself became the first city they visited on the Camparino Tour the Asia.
This is also one of the series of Road to Negroni Week which will be held in September by Campari Indonesia.
