In celebration of the 79th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, Sheraton Bandung Hotel & Towers is collaborating with Komunitas Misi Anak Negeri to organize the Independence Painting Exhibition. This exhibition will run throughout August 2024 in the hotel lobby, showcasing artworks that depict the spirit of struggle and love for the homeland.
This event is an initiative that combines a love for art with appreciation for the heroes of independence. The paintings on display are the works of local artists inspired by the spirit of patriotism and the beauty of Indonesian culture. Each painting not only decorates the space but also conveys messages and stories about Indonesia's struggle for independence.
In the spirit of honoring the heroes, the collaboration between Komunitas Misi Anak Negeri and the hotel, located in the Dago area of Bandung, will donate 17% of the painting sales proceeds to the Veterans. This donation aims to support the Veterans who fought for Indonesia's independence, providing them with financial aid as a form of respect for their sacrifices.
In addition to enjoying the beauty of the art, guests can also savor Indonesian culinary delights at the Ayo Makan Nusantara program, an 'All You Can Eat' lunch buffet served at Feast Restaurant from August 13th to 17th. The buffet features a variety of delicious Nusantara dishes, ranging from traditional cuisine to modern creations that still retain authentic Indonesian flavors.
Ayo Makan Nusantara offers a wide array of appetizing dishes such as rendang, satay, nasi tumpeng, gado-gado, and various traditional desserts. Each dish is prepared with the finest ingredients and authentic recipes, promising a satisfying culinary experience for every guest. "This buffet is an opportunity for guests to enjoy the deliciousness of Indonesian cuisine in a comfortable and luxurious setting," said Sidiq Ananto, F&B Manager.
