Meanwhile, throughout the three days of the pre-event, the Maranatha Exhibition Hall was filled with hundreds of works exhibited in a joint exhibition. First in Bandung, Nava Sajiva "Experience Space" 2025

After successfully holding a pre-event, Maranatha Christian University will make the next breakthrough, namely, having a main event on a larger scale. The peak of the Nava Sajiva event will be held on February 12-16, 2025 at 23 Paskal Shopping Center, the first time in Bandung presenting a unique and innovative "Experience Space".

Yudita Royandi, S.T., S.Ds., M.Ds., HDII, Deputy Chairperson of the Nava Sajiva 2025 Committee, said that the Nava Sajiva experience space will provide a special experience for visitors.

"This experience space was built to provide visual, audial, tactile, and other experiences, which can be felt directly at that time and can even bring back memories to the past," she explained.

Nava Sajiva's "Experience Space" 2025 will present this experience through a unique design collaboration of four Indonesian interior designers.

"The four of them represent the world of academics, practitioners, professionals and professional associations, including designers whose works are known to be unique and have been recognized nationally and internationally," said Yudita.

Multi-Party Collaboration

The Nava Sajiva series of events results from collaboration between interior design academics and other scientific fields with industry, practitioners, and professional associations.

Dr. Krismanto Kusbiantoro, S.T., M.T., CIQaR, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Creative Industries, Maranatha Christian University, emphasized the importance of cross-field and cross-party collaboration built early on during college.

"Collaboration with many parties is the advantage of design education at Maranatha Christian University," said Krismanto when delivering his opening remarks at the pre-event series on the Maranatha campus (1/21/2025).

Nava Sajiva is a collaborative project that facilitates multi-parties and multi-fields to work together in a creative event. Students can come into direct contact with the industrial world, experience working with many parties, and meet experts and professional practitioners.

The importance of collaboration is also felt by industry and practitioners who are partners or sponsors. Nava Sajiva is expected to encourage the creation of stronger innovation and collaboration so that the Indonesian design world can grow even further.
