The Annual Marriott International Bali Charity Golf Day, organized by Marriott Business Council Bali, recently brought together golfing communities in a remarkable gathering. The event was a resounding success, as it managed to raise over five hundred million rupiah for the Bali Children Foundation, a charitable organization dedicated to supporting underprivileged children. Under the leadership of Marcel Kloet, General Manager of St. Regis Bali Resort and Chairman of Marriott Business Council Bali, this significant occasion witnessed the participation of more than two hundred golfers, business partners, hoteliers and sponsors. Notably, three esteemed LPGA professional golfers from Thailand and Japan also graced the event with their presence.
Upon arrival, golfers were presented with a premium golf shirt, before tee off. This fun-filled day of golf was enhanced with delicious bites and light refreshments from all Marriott hotels in Bali on every hole, plus live entertainment like DJ performance and numerous novelty on-course competitions. The event concluded with an awards dinner and live charity auctions.
The Gala Night, Eurokars Indonesia Group Gala Dinner at Renaissance Bali Nusa Dua Resort brought together both golfers and non-golfers for a memorable evening. From 7 pm onwards, guests indulged in a lavish International Buffet Dinner accompanied by a selection of Beer, Wine, and Soft Drinks. The festivities lasted for three hours and featured an array of exciting activities, including door prizes, live and silent auctions, novelty prizes, and captivating live music entertainment by Athron. The live auction and silent auction were met with great enthusiasm from the attendees, who thoroughly relished the night's offerings.
In total, IDR 555,888,000 was raised from the live auction, silent auction, sponsorships, and lucky draw tickets at the gala night which will be donated to Bali Children Foundation. Marcel Kloet, alongside Masanori Hosoya – General Manager of Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve and Lasta Arimbawa, General Manager of Sthala, A Tribute Portfolio Ubud presented the large cheque to Margaret Barry – Founder of Bali Children Foundation.
