Twenty-four artists and 84 works come together in Blue Peaceful Frequency, a collective art exhibition opening today at Blue Karma Creative Hub in Seminyak. Running until 4 October 2026, the exhibition presents painting, sculpture and multidisciplinary works connected by a single point of departure: the colour blue.
Rather than presenting blue as a fixed theme or symbol, Blue Peaceful Frequency treats it as a shared visual language. Each participating artist takes that language in a different direction, shaped by their individual experiences, creative processes and ways of seeing the world.

Behind the works are stories that extend beyond the exhibition itself. I Komang Adiartha brings sustainability into his practice by transforming upcycled coffee grounds into art, while Alexa Genoyer participates not only as an artist and founder of Blue Karma Secrets, but also as the founder of Blue Karma Children Foundation. Proceeds from the sale of Carmen Clews’ painting will also be donated to a dog shelter. These are only a few of the personal stories, materials, and purposes carried by the 24 participating artists, each offering another way to experience the colour blue while also giving back to the community.
The visitor experience begins with a simple invitation: “Take a moment, slow down…” Visitors are then asked, “What does blue mean to you?” This question follows them throughout the exhibition, encouraging each person to form their own relationship with the artworks rather than searching for a single prescribed interpretation.
The opening evening will extend the exhibition beyond the visual arts through a live dance performance at 7.00 PM, followed by a welcoming address and the official opening at 7.10 PM.

“Blue was chosen because it carries no single meaning. It can feel peaceful, distant, intimate or even unsettling, depending on who is looking at it. As both the founder of Blue Karma Secrets and one of the participating artists, I wanted this exhibition to create a space where those different perspectives could coexist. I hope visitors do not come looking for one answer, but leave having discovered what blue means to them personally,” said Alexa Genoyer, Founder of Blue Karma Secrets and participating artist in Blue Peaceful Frequency.
Blue Peaceful Frequency does not attempt to define what blue means. Instead, it allows 24 artists to propose 24 different starting points and invites every visitor to arrive at an interpretation of their own.
