Following the success of the Bangli Edition, COMO Culinary Odyssey now continues its journey through Bali’s cultural heart—Gianyar. Celebrated for its artistic legacy, sacred temples and rich culinary heritage, Gianyar is a region where tradition is deeply woven into daily life.
From April 4 th to May 31st 2025, guests are invited to COMO Beach Club to experience a thoughtfully curated menu by Executive Chef Kadek Sugiantara. The set menu brings to life the bold, soulful flavours of Gianyar through time-honoured recipes reimagined with a contemporary touch. Signature dishes include jukut ares bebek—a fragrant duck and banana stem soup, nasi tepeng, a comforting slow-cooked rice dish, and sate lilit tuna wrapped delicately around lemongrass. The experience concludes with pisang rai, a sweet pairing of steamed banana, coconut and palm sugar.

Chef Kadek, a native Balinese, brings a personal connection to this edition. “Gianyar holds some of Bali’s most treasured culinary traditions, where every dish carries a story of its people. With this menu, I want to bring these stories to life through flavours that are as bold and vibrant as the region itself,” he shares.
Complementing the dining experience is a special series of arak-based cocktails, created exclusively for the Gianyar Edition. Drawing inspiration from the island’s landscapes and folklore, the cocktails offer a modern interpretation of Bali’s traditional spirit. Ubud Twilight blends Arak Bali, longan purée, maraschino and cucumber—a light yet complex tribute to serene evenings in Ubud. Tegallalang Mist captures the freshness of Gianyar’s famed rice terraces with jackfruit-infused Arak Bali, coconut liqueur and clarified pandan pineapple. Ayung Bloom, bold and unexpected, combines pandan-infused Arak Bali, spiced rum, dragon fruit and peanut butter to honour the wild beauty along the Ayung River.

Together, the menu and cocktails offer more than just a meal—they create a sensory journey through Gianyar’s landscapes, stories and spirit.
