April 13 to October 13, 2025 – The upcoming Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan will take place over 184 days at Yumeshima, Osaka, bringing together people, ideas, and innovations under the central theme: “Designing Future Society for Our Lives.”
With the world facing urgent challenges, Expo 2025 will serve as a platform to explore how humanity can create a brighter and more sustainable future. The theme is further divided into three impactful subthemes:
Saving Lives – Showcasing solutions that protect and improve health, safety, and the environment.
Empowering Lives – Celebrating diversity, creativity, and innovation to enhance human potential.
Connecting Lives – Building stronger global connections through technology, culture, and collaboration.
Concept: People’s Living Lab
Expo 2025 will be more than just an exhibition—it will be a living laboratory for the future of society. A place where the world’s 8 billion people can share ideas, collaborate, and co-create solutions for global issues.
Even before the Expo begins, an online platform will be launched to gather challenges and solutions from around the globe. At the event itself, cutting-edge knowledge and technology will be showcased, exchanged, and transformed into new ideas, creating a space for collaboration that extends far beyond national borders.
