Co-presented by SJM Resorts, S.A. (“SJM”) and Whisky Magazine, the international whisky event of the year — Whisky Live & Fine Spirits Macau 2025 — will take place in grand style on Friday and Saturday, November 28–29, 2025 at Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau (“Grand Lisboa Palace”). Building on the tremendous success of last year, this year’s edition expands in scale and depth, bringing whisky lovers a more immersive and diverse experience. Guests can look forward to exploring over 500 premium whiskies from over 80 brands worldwide, engaging directly with whisky experts, and indulging in a multi-sensory journey where fine spirits, crafted cocktails, live music, and gourmet cuisine come together in one extraordinary celebration.
Four Highlights for an Exceptional Experience
Asia Bar Show — Star-studded Line-up
For this year, the event features the Asia Bar Show, showcasing 12 of the region’s top bars. Taking center stage is Mesa Bar, located at THE KARL LAGERFELD MACAU, led by Frederick Ma, Resort Master Mixologist of Grand Lisboa Palace and Champion of the 2024 World Bartender of the Year at the IBA World Cocktail Championship. He will present an array of innovative, refined, and distinctive signature cocktails.
From Hong Kong, Alibi – Wine Dine Be Social will also join the showcase, under the leadership of Head Mixologist Jennifer Ho, winner of Hennessy My Way Hong Kong & Macau 2025. She has steered the bar into the HK Bar Awards 2025 Top 20 Cocktail Bars. Two world- class mixologists will join other Asia’s finest mixologists to showcase their skills, delivering an unforgettable tasting experience for guests.

Exclusive Annual Bottle — Annual Collector’s Highlights
As a Whisky Live tradition, each year features specially crafted, exclusive annual event bottle, offering connoisseurs and collectors rare treasures to discover. Tsunuki Single Cask Whisky Live Macau 2025 – Aged 6 Years Cream Sherry Cask Peated (700ml, 58% ABV).
This distinguished single cask whisky from Tsunuki distillery has been specially selected for Whisky Live Macau 2025. Matured for six years in a Cream Sherry cask and crafted with peated malt, it offers a bold and complex profile that reflects the distillery’s commitment to excellence. The whisky reveals layers of rich smoke, dried fruit, and velvety sweetness, culminating in a long, warming finish. Presented in a 700ml bottle, this limited-edition release embodies the spirit of craftsmanship and festivity—an exceptional selection created exclusively for this year’s event. Live Music Performances — Immersive Entertainment
To enrich the sensory journey, the event features a dynamic line-up of live music performances, spanning genres from jazz to Cantopop. Each day brings a unique highlight:
28 November (Friday): Eugene Pao & Quartet
Hong Kong jazz legend Eugene Pao, the first Hong Kong jazz musician to sign with an international record label, takes the stage with his quartet. Having collaborated with superstars such as Michael Brecker and Herbie Hancock, Pao’s soulful jazz artistry promises to bring sophistication and elegance to Whisky Live.
29 November (Saturday): Beat Friday
Hong Kong’s popular DJ duo Beat Friday specializes in Canto Disco parties and retro Cantopop. Comprising veteran music producer and songwriter INK and renowned club and RTHK DJ Ballshing, the pair reimagines 1980s–2000s Cantopop classics with their own remixes and mashups, infusing nostalgic hits with fresh surprises. Their energetic sets balance tradition and creativity, ensuring a performance full of unexpected twists and unforgettable moments.
VIP Lounge & Culinary Experiences at Grand Lisboa Palace
A dedicated VIP Lounge offers guests the best vantage point for live music, paired with specially curated gourmet dishes, including signature creations from SJM’s award-winning restaurants. These elevated pairings bring whisky appreciation to new heights.
With over six decades of culinary leadership in Macau, SJM continues its pioneering role in gastronomy, showcasing authentic Macanese, Portuguese, regional Chinese and Western cuisines across its properties. These range from first-in-Macau and trend-setting dining concepts to home-grown brands helmed by award-winning chefs.
